President's Message

Our next members meeting will be Tuesday, November 18, at 12 p.m. at the First Parish Congregational Function Hall, Chapel Lane, MBTS. As always, please be mindful of the challenging parking and carpool if possible, or use the Council on Aging van. Please do not arrive before 12 p.m.
As this meeting is our last of 2025, I'd like to thank you all for your support for myself, as well as the MWC. I am continually proud to serve as your President and am honored to be surrounded by such truly amazing ladies.
I have attached a meeting agenda, minutes of the October meeting for your review, October bank statement, and proposed by-law changes for review before discussion and a member vote.
The program this month should be great fun as we welcome Gene Ellison, presenting "The Birds of Manchester." Gene is a passionate birder who will talk about our avian friends that call our beautiful town and coastline home. We will even be asked to identify some of the bird songs!
We are also looking for a few volunteers to join us at the Post Office on Saturday mornings from 9-11 as we promote the Sponsor-a-Bulb program for the Friendship Tree. Please reach out to me here, or 978-525-8145 if you can offer your time, no matter how brief.
As always we will be collecting non-perishable food items and feminine products. The need is always great, but with the holidays approaching as well as other current challenges, we can all make a difference by our generous contributions.
I look forward to seeing you all next Tuesday. Thank you for all you do for the Manchester Woman's Club, our community and each other.
Sincerely,
Joanne Donnelly, President
Manchester Woman's Club
