Mission Statement

 

The Manchester Woman’s Club provides opportunities for its members to engage their ethical, social and intellectual interests to enrich their lives and serve the community.

 

Our Purpose

 

Since our organization’s founding in 1908, generations of women, dedicated to serving and supporting our community and each other, join in friendship and good will. Although it is the Manchester Woman’s Club, members reside in towns from Rockport to Hamilton. We support organizations from all over the North Shore of Massachusetts.

 

• We organize the Holiday Festive Program and lighting of the Friendship Tree every year.

• The Nathan B. Sargent and the Alice Forbes Perkins Hooper scholarships are awarded annually to graduating seniors.

• The Club continues its tradition of supporting the Visiting Nurse Care Network.

 

Annual dues are $30. Members meetings are held on the third Tuesday at 12 p.m. from September to May inclusive, except December & January.
